INDULGING IN ITALY WITH ALBERT THURSTON

This year, I was lucky enough to visit Florence with Albert Thurston to attend the biannual Pitti Uomo menswear exhibition.

Albert Thurston are a mens accessories company that specialise in braces and have been making them since the 1820's. Their braces are often seen on Royalty, the red carpet, and the big screen (James Bond, Peaky Blinders, plus countless others).

The event is huge and showcases some of the biggest names in mens fashion. When I wasn't on the stand or talking to clients, I went for a little wonder around the exhibition to have a look at what was happening. DJ's, food halls, models, photographers, journalists - you name it, they were there! It was a fantastic experience which I'll forever hold close to my heart. I met a tonne of new people, made some lifelong friends, and learned a lot about the industry. I am very grateful to Albert Thurston for the opportunity.

The days that I wasn't working, I was trying some of the amazing food the city has to offer (and drink of course), exploring some of the sites and just having an amazing time in general.
We ended up staying a few extra days in Florence due to there being a traffic jam on the motorway that our airport taxi got stuck in. I can't say I was hugely disappointed in this turn of events as it meant more wining and dining!
